Sunday was gray. All day.  Though rain threatened we rugged up the babies in the buggies and headed out to do the Sunday mahi: the vege market and the Moore Wilson shop.  I am always on the lookout for friends at the market – only from the edges since I cannot negotiate the big buggy through the market itself.  This week we met Nick, with his mate Andrew down from the Hawkes Bay. Nick had the sterling idea to do roasted beetroot, so Justin bought beets, together with yams, pumpkin and kumara to do a big roast vege cook up for weekday winter lunches.  Though he forgot his lunchbox today.  The menu for the week is

PANFRIED FISH with seasonal vegetables

MARINATED CHICKEN DRUMSTICKS (honey, soy, garlic, lemon, tomato puree) on rice
