This week Katy sent me this link for a new peg bag, with a request for sewing machine assistance.  She brought over a lovely Cath Kidston inspired polka dot fabric and I provided one of my many kids hangars to fit into the top.  Katy is historically a hand stitcher, she even totally stitched her rice filled door draft stopper, but this time she felt it was time for the machine job.  I set the project up to have one exposed seam, to which Katy sat down, albeit apprehensively, to sew.  I finished it off and later three year old Jimmy stuffed it with pegs.   It now gets to hang with a magnificent view of Lyall Bay and Cape Pallisser beyond.
