Weekend Mornings [Kreuzberg Summer Cafe]

Despite what I said in the post below, I’ll forgo the Millennium book for a bit and talk about Summer. It finally feels like Summer has arrived in Wellington, taken pity on the inhabitants, and actually decided to stick around for a while.  Im getting uber-milage out of all the summer dresses I have made, and we are enjoying the tamariki being able to get out of the house during the days and evenings.  At the top of Cuba Street in the old Aro Motors carpark is the  Kreuzberg Summer Cafe.  The cafe consists of a serving caravan, a dine-in caravan and a few candy-stripe picnic tables and planters set atop the old caryard. They even host live music on a Friday evening and Saturday afternoon.  We took over on a recent Saturday morning, enjoying Pandoro muffins and People’s Coffee on our way to Central Park.  Providing this Summertime weather holds we will definitely be back on the weekend mornings.
