Domestic Reo 010 [Waka and waiata]

I was sitting with Sabina Arikirangi (age 2 years 8 months) at the table taking about various things, then she mentions waka. This is where this clip starts.  I shout out a few waka (rowing) commands that we learnt as a kemu (game) in our Te Ara Reo class.  She follows the commands, then starts to do a haka.  We then sing another song from our Te Ara Reo class, a song from Hawaii.  The kupu [words] are very similar to Maori.  She finishes off with a song she enjoys from her Kohanga Reo.  Then it is bedtime, “Po Marie!”.
