Last night Sabina and I made some cupcakes for a Poroporoake at Kohanga Reo today. I couldn’t find my Squeeze-it to do the icing, since the kids have moved it somewhere around the house other than the kitchen. So I went for the knife schmear which makes the black icing look a little more sinister than the delicate koru I had been planning on using. Anyway these otherwise morbid looking cakes are saved by the gold. And a good practice for Halloween.
