Blog love: Pretty neat, eh

Once upon a time, in fact probably more than once – I attended a craft session at the very old (no longer existent) Totara Park community centre.  It was a holiday programme of some sort and I recall, on more than one occasion – making candles from melted down crayons. We dipped a waxed sting into a pot of melting crayons.  The memory has haunted me lately, possibly due to the pitiful state of the crayon container at kohanga.  But today this post also triggered that memory and hence a shout out to childhood friend Amber – who is half responsible for the loving “extraordinary” (not extra ordinary!) craftiness that will inevitably flow from the new Pretty Neat, Eh, site.  Keep watching.
